Hello, I'm Alison Brown, Counsellor and Supervisor I offer counselling to individuals, couples, young people and workplaces, for a wide range of concerns. Clinical supervision is also available for individuals, small goups and workplaces. I'm based in Cullercoats, Tyne and Wear. Clients tend to come from Newcastle and the surrounding areas. In the first session you'll be asked to give me an outline of what you'd like to explore in counselling, and you'll have the opportunity to ask me any questions you might have. I look forward to hearing from you.
I understand that deciding to see a counsellor is a big step to take, and I hope to make the whole process as smooth and comfortable as possible for you. I have a gentle, warm approach and a tranquil, calming counselling room. This helps my clients feel more at ease - particularly during the first session when, understandably, people usually tend to feel quite nervous.
